Personal Support

Personal Support is an alternative option to CDCS for individuals on the DD (developmentally disabled) Waiver who's state set CDCS budgets were significantly reduced.  Personal Support allows the individual to retain their higher county set budget allocation and still be able to hire and manage their own workers.

The definition of Personal Support is "supervision and assistance provided in the home of the person or community to achieve increased independence, productivity and inclusion in the community in accordance with outcomes identified in the service plan..."
